Oat Milk

Hi, it’s me in the milk reflection!

I am quite fussy when it comes to my oat milks in my coffee - and I was always too lazy to soak my oats overnight or wait a few hours! So, I wanted an instant oat milk recipe and I’ve finally perfected it 😄 I did a lot of research and I found that most oat milks have vegetable oil which helps reduce that gluggy thickness from the oats. I also like mine quite sweet, so I do normally add the vanilla essence just for that extra sweetness but it’s totally optional. Perfect by itself or in your morning coffee - I hope you love this recipe as much as I do.

600ml serve

Ingredients:

  • 70g rolled oats

  • 680 cold water

  • 6 dates (pitted)

  • 10g maple syrup

  • 5g vegetable oil

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

1. Add all ingredients to the Thermomix and mix 20 seconds, speed 10.

2. Using a nut milk bag, pour milk into a bowl or jug, squeezing to extract the liquid.

3. Store in fridge and shake before use.
